Eine von Ulrike Königshofer gebaute Apparatur bündelt über eine große Linse das Sonnenlicht, dessen Spur sich in eine runde Holztafel einbrennt. Dieser Prozess zeichnet einen Zeitraum auf und wird zu etwas Abstraktem und gleichzeitig Dokumentarischem.

An apparatus built by Ulrike Königshofer concentrates the sunlight via a large lens: The trace of the sun is burned into a round wooden panel. In this way, the material process records a certain period of time and becomes something abstract and at the same time documentary.
